The hawker lunch crowd is back to full force. Every table is taken, chopsticks are tapping, plates are clattering. You weave through with your tray, eyes scanning for a seat. It is that part of the year that feels like the lunch hour rush. Everyone is moving fast, and it seems like you should be too.

It is tempting to grab every chance that flashes by, thinking the pace will not last forever. But not every table is worth sitting at. Choosing matters more than chasing.

You are always making choices, even when it feels like the environment decides for you. You choose what you carry, what you release, and where you place yourself. Slowing down to ask “Does this move me closer to the life I want?” can make the difference between being swept along and moving with intention.

Clue: Some seats are chosen for comfort. Others are chosen because of what they let you see.
